Preserving Niagara’s Queer past, celebrating our living history.
The Niagara Queer Archive is a community project dedicated to cataloguing, curating, and preserving LGBTQ2S+ stories in our region.

About the Niagara Queer Archive
We’re building an archive of Niagara’s queer history—online and in-person. Every story, photo, and artifact helps tell the bigger story of our community.
The archive is rooted in three principles:
Catalogue the documents, stories, and materials that make up our shared history.
Curate entries into meaningful collections that reflect our diverse identities.
Preserve these histories so they remain visible for future generations.
Collections (Coming Soon)
Our collections are currently in development. Soon, this space will feature curated themes that connect individual stories, photos, documents, and events into a broader picture of Queer life in Niagara.
In the meantime, you can help shape these collections by contributing your story, memory, or artifact.
